The average child gets through an astounding 5000 disposable nappies, this equates to over 30 trees and an equally astounding 250 gallons of raw oil. This is an enormous drain on our natural resources and this is before you consider that this produces over half a tonne of waste that will spend up to 500 years in landfill before bio-degrading.
